Canadian International Organ Competition reveals intricacy of organ playing

Jens Korndörfer, a doctoral student a McGill, took home the second prize of $15,000, along with the $2,000 Liszt prize for the best interpretation of the composer's Variations on Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen. The $5,000 third prize was went to Balthasar Baumgartner and Frenchman (and now Montreal resident) Jean-Willy Kunz, D.Mus.(McGill), who took home the $4,000 Richard Bradshaw audience prize.
