The largest phase of renovations to the McIntyre Medical Building has begun:

• The contractor for the electromechanical infrastructure (Groupe TEQ) will work on floors 7-13 to gain access to ventilation systems.
• Laboratories on the 8th. 9th and sections of the 10th floor are being renovated (Decarel).
• Freezer farm installation and washroom renovation on floors 10-13 will begin in August.

Materials and equipment will be brought in through the main entrance before 8am or after 6 pm to minimize disruption to students and staff.

All construction workers will wear identity badges while onsite.
