Launch of the Financial Services General Knowledge Base / Lancement de la Base de connaissances des Services financiers

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the Financial Services Knowledge Base, a centralized repository of Financial Services’ procedures, documentation and how-to’s, where sign-in is required.

The Financial Services Website will still display the Policies & Procedures, Contact Information, Reports, and Forms and will continue to be available to the general public.

We are pleased to announce an important improvement in how purchases from Amazon for university purposes will be made. To enhance efficiency and ensure compliance, all Amazon orders will now be processed through the McGill Marketplace (MMP). By transitioning University purchases from Amazon to an MMP catalogue, we are enhancing how the university manages purchases, ensuring a more efficient, transparent, and responsible procurement process.

Due to sustainability efforts to go paperless, the use of the Drop Box (at 680 Sherbrooke outside of room 724) has significantly decreased in the past few years, and effective November 5, 2024 will be removed.

We encourage you to use internal Mailing Services when directing cheques to Financial Services as they provide a safe and secure option, but you may give advance notice to the Fund Administrator if you wish.
