The third article is "Canada鈥檚 Huawei decision: Next Steps" by Sugandha Gupta. Gupta is a Master鈥檚 student at the Max Bell School of Public Policy at McGill University and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from the University of Delhi, as well as a Master of Science in Economics from the聽Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research.

Caroline co-founded Youth4Nature (formerly Climate Guides), a non-profit organization mobilizing youth for nature and climate action.

February 4, 2022 |聽This paper presents an in-depth analysis of women earthquake survivors during and after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal by looking at women鈥檚 experience of evacuation, relief, and recovery. In particular, it examines how gender intersects with socio-economic factors such as citizenship, caste, ethnicity, income, debt, and location to shape women鈥檚 disaster experience.
In the summer of 2021, Max Bell School Master of Public Policy candidates Danielle Appavoo, Mariel Aramburu, Ricardo Chejfec, and Anil Wasif responded to a call to the academic community from Qu茅bec鈥檚 Minister of Finance, M. Eric Girard. The Minister was interested in proposals from universities and research groups, namely on (i) fiscal policy in Qu茅bec, (ii) the province鈥檚 economic potential and (iii) the fight against climate change.

The first one, carried out in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, aims to understand and analyse the nature and the impacts of police violence, as well as resistance emerging in that context, based on women鈥檚 testimonies.
