Published: 23 September 2019
After sustaining a series of injuries, 21-year-old BCom student Océane Fillion has officially retired from competitive snowboarding. While she vows to hit the slopes as often as she can, the former Slopestyle and Big Air champion will focus on earning a business degree at McGill University and acting as a coordinator for the Quebec Snowboard Association.
At the height of her snowboarding career, Océane won a gold medal at the Canada Games in 2015 and a bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in 2016.
