Published: 29 November 2019

McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA participant Kate Arthur (EMBA’21) has received the Digital Finance Institute’s Visa Entrepreneur/Innovation Leader of the Year Award. Kate is the founder and CEO of Canadian charity Kids Code Jeunesse, which aims to give every Canadian child access to digital skills education.

In her acceptance speech, Kate issued a rallying call to the industry leaders in the room: “This is the first generation ever to be born into a world surrounded by AI. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that kids are skilled with the tools to create and communicate in this world. So, please make sure that you are creating that space for our children to be the leaders that we need for our future.”
