Graduating MBA student Emily Gogarty makes Poets&Quants’ “2022 Best & Brightest MBA”
Emily Gogarty (MBA'22) has been named one of Poets&Quants’ “2022 Best & Brightest MBA”!
Emily, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, worked at Zimmer Biomet as a Senior System Designer before joining the Desautels MBA. Despite never having studied finance or economics, her analytical background helped her excel. Already quite successful in developing the cutting-edge surgical robotics technology ROSA Knee System, Emily fully immersed herself in her MBA experience. During her time at Desautels, she completed her summer internship as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte in Toronto and promoted women in leadership as President of the Desautels Graduate Women’s Association (DGWA).
In September, Emily returned to Zimmer Biomet as a Senior Product Manager, taking on a more strategic role in building tools to improve patients’ quality of life.
