Academic expenses
Exchange students are required to pay for course materials and textbooks. This could average up to $1,000 per term. Some courses include copyright fees and these fees are charged automatically to your student account when you buy a course pack at . You will know how much this fee is when you buy the course pack (anywhere from $6.00 to $150.00). This fee may only appear in your student account a few weeks into the term, under the description Course Package Copyright Fee (DMGT). Failure to pay all charges that are on your account will result in McGill not releasing the transcript to your home university. Please make sure to clear your account before end of term.
