Kirkpatrick Crain Family Scholarship in Education

This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process.

Established in 2024 by Joan K. Crain, BMus 1971. Awarded by the Faculty of Education Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic merit to one or more students who have completed at least one year of an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Education.

Adele Rocklin Prize in Education This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Awarded by the Faculty of Education to an outstanding Kindergarten and Elementary Education undergraduate student who has completed at least one year of study.
Cissy & Jimmy Greer Prize This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Established in memory of Cissy and Jimmy Greer by their daughter, Dr. Cicely Greer Watson, B.A., 1943. Awarded by the Faculty of Education's Committee on Student Affairs, for high achievement to a student having completed at least one year and continuing in their Bachelor of Education program in KindergartenÌý´Ç°ù Elementary Education. 
Delta Kappa Gamma - Sarah Paltiel Award This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Awarded by the Faculty of Education to a student in the B.Ed. program who has achieved an academic standing in the top 1% at the end of the first year of the B.Ed. program.

Faculty of Education Scholarships This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Awarded to continuing students in the top 5% of the academic standings.
Jack Cram Memorial Prize (OFNIE only) This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Established in 1987 by students, colleagues and friends of Dr. Jack Cram, former Director of the Centre for Northern Studies and Research and the Certificate Program in Native and Northern Education. Given in memory of his outstanding contribution to native and northern education. Two prizes will be awarded annually, for students in the Kativik Ilisarniliriniq Teacher Education Program. The prizes will be available to part-time and full-time students engaging in further study (after the Certificate in Education, First Nations and Inuit program or near the final stages of completion of it) in the Faculty of Education. Awarded by the Faculty of Education's Committee on Student Affairs on the recommendation of the Kativik Ilisarniliriniq Directors of the Teacher Education program and the Director of the Office of First Nations and Inuit Education.

James A. Robb Scholarship (PIF only) This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Established in 2015 by James A. Robb, BA 1951, BCL 1954, Q.C., Ad.E., for one or more outstanding students who are enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Education's B.Ed. Kindergarten and Elementary Education program registered in a language immersion pedagogy option. Awarded by the Faculty of Education Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic merit.

Evelyn Berman Cohen Prize This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Awarded by the Faculty of Education to a student enrolled in a B.Ed. Secondary program with a preference for students in the Secondary Science or Secondary Math programs. Academic standing is of primary importance; however, all else being equal, account will be taken of financial need.

A.S. Lamb Scholarships This award is selected by the Faculty. There is no application process. Endowed by friends of Dr. Arthur S. Lamb, formerly Director of the School of Physical Education and of the University Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation, as a tribute to his work in these fields. Awarded by the Faculty of Education's Committee on Student Affairs, on the recommendation of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, to students in the Physical Education and Kinesiology programs, on the basis of academic merit and professional promise. There are three awards for Physical Education students and three for Kinesiology students. The three awards in the Physical Education program are awarded to one student entering each of the second, third, and fourth years. The three awards in the Kinesiology program are awarded to one student entering the second year, and two students entering the third year.
