In the OTL Vestibular聽Laboratory, under the directorship of Dr. T. Mijovic, the main research thrust is in the function and dysfunction of the vestibular system in humans. 聽The Laboratory is equipped with state of the art technologies for the assessment of the vestibular function including video Videonystagmography (VNG), Video Head Impulse Test (VHIT), Rotating chair and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMPS).
Any project involving human experimentation in the area of the function and dysfunction of the vestibular system can be supported by our facilities. 聽We have a particular interest in mechanisms of vestibular compensation as well as the use of virtual reality goggles for the assessment of the vestibular system.
