Ian Mosby is a听historian of food, health and colonialism with a听PhD from York University in Toronto, Ontario.听听In 2013,听his article in the journal Social History, on the history of nutrition research and human biomedical experimentation in Indigenous听communities and residential schools during the 1940s and 1950s received widespread international media attention. Ian has written on a wide variety of听topics, ranging from听the history听of nutrition education and research in Canada,听 to the听history of food, colonialism and government efforts to 鈥榤odernize鈥� Indigenous diets in Canada during the听twentieth century.
