Professor of Family Medicine
Research Interests: Neil Andersson is Professor of Family Medicine, director of the amalgamated CIET and Participatory Research at McGill (PRAM) and co-director of the McGill Institute of Human Development and Well-being. He has a special interest in large scale pragmatic trials that incorporate community views and resources in primary prevention. Current research focuses on safe birth in cultural safety (Mexico, Colombia, Nigeria) and structural interventions to reduce HIV risk among young women (Botswana), and gamefication of learning about comunity-based vector control.Â
Projects: Inter-ministerial Structural Intervention Trial (INSTRUCT), Camino Verde (Green Way) to dengue control, Game of Zones: gamified dengue and zika control training.Â
