McGill announces Fall 2020 term will be delivered remotely
Published: 11 May 2020
McGill University has announced that many of its programs will be delivered remotely in the Fall 2020 term.
The Faculty of Law will continue to deliver one of the best legal educations in the world to its exceptional students. It will offer a wide selection of courses taught by leading scholars, in all its programs, in a remote environment.
The Faculty of Law is taking steps to facilitate the transition to remote teaching and learning. Among other things:
- An ad hoc committee will support instructors
- A 1L facilitator will work with instructors in first-year courses to ensure that incoming students have a strong pedagogical and social experience
- Additional research funds allow professors to benefit from student research assistance in adapting their courses for remote delivery.
Please continue to regularly consult the COVID-19 information page on the Faculty of Law website for important news and information relating to the Fall 2020 term.
We look forward to welcoming all our newly admitted and returning BCL/JD, LLM and DCL students this Fall.
