Library services & spaces re-open September 1
Updated September 3, 2021
As of September 1, most Library branches, including the stack areas, will be accessible to Library users. Visit the hours webpage for a full listing of opening and service hours. The Library will be open for University business ONLY. Due to University directives, we will not be open to the general public at this time. Access will be limited to current McGill students, faculty, and staff. Because of this reopening, the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service, Library Pickup Service and Study Hubs will be discontinued.
As per public health, government, and university directives, procedural masks will continue to be required in all indoor spaces at McGill, including all Library branches. Mask dispensers are positioned at Library entrances. Those wearing cloth masks will need to replace them with procedural masks. Please note that the University will provide the necessary procedural masks to all students, faculty, staff and visitors entering our buildings.
Zoom Zone: The Cyberthèque (Redpath Library Building, ground floor) will serve as a designated Zoom Zone. Students can attend/participate in online activities on this floor. First come, first served. Earbuds/earphones are required in the Zoom Zone. Please note that students who attend classes virtually but do not need to speak can do so from any library work area.Ìý
