Experts: Quebec to allow advance MAID requests
Quebec will allow advance requests for medical assistance in dying (MAID) as of Oct. 30. People with certain serious illnesses, such as Alzheimer's disease, will be permitted to apply for MAID before they lose the capacity to consent.
