Banquet
Once every semester, a dinner hosted at a venue selected by the MEUS council is organized to give all Materials students and professors the opportunity to dress up, have some wine, and enjoy a good time. A great way to finish off the semester in high spirits!

E-Week
E-week is a faculty wide competition that happens at the beginning of each winter semester, providing all engineering departments to win a trophy and plenty of bragging right. From chariot race, design competitions, to the beer olympics, there are plenty diverse events for every engineer to enjoy. Materials engineering students often collaborate with Mining Engineering to form the iconic, MIME team! We may not be known for winning, but students on the MIME team always have the best time and make the best of friends at Eweek.:)

Blues Pub
Once a year, MEUS hosts a pub in the EUS common room found in the McConnell basement. It’s a perfect place to meet other fellow engineers, eat some delicious grilled cheese, or try your hand at beer die. What makes the Materials Eng run blues pub truly special though is the notorious Mamma Mia! theme! (Not to brag, but we won the Blues Pub of the Year award in 2018-2019).

Industry Tours
Through the year, MEUS students have the chance to tour local industries surrounding Montreal. Not only is it an opportunity to get an idea of what life after undergrad might look like, but also the chance to network and scope a potential co-op!
Ìý
MetTalk
MetTalk is a networking conference organized once a year by the MEUS council, providing students with the opportunity to get to know the Materials Engineering world outside of undergrad. As well, students have the chance to network with all professionals brought in for both a panel and informational presentations!
