NSCI 410 and NSCI 420 Research Projects
Neuroscience major students can complete either NSCI 410 or NSCI 420 as part of their "Other Complementary Courses". This course is intended to provide students registered in the B.Sc. Neuroscience Major with an opportunity to experience hands-on laboratory research by pursuing an independent research project under the guidance of an established neuroscientist at McGill University.
NSCI 410 D1/D2 (6 credits total) can be taken over a Fall-Winter span of two terms. Students should expect to work on their research project for at least 9 hours per week.
NSCI 420 D1/D2 (9 credits total) can be taken over a Fall-Winter span of two terms. Students should expect to work on their research project for at least 14 hours per week.

NSCI 430 Honours Research Project
Honours Neuroscience students must complete NSCI 430 as it is a required course of the honours program. NSCI 430 D1/D2 (9 credits total) is taken over a Fall-Winter span of two terms. Students should expect to work on their research project at least 14 hours per week.

NSCI 396 Undergraduate Research Project
McGill students in the Faculty of Science or the Bachelor of Arts and Science (BA&Sc) may complete NSCI 396 as an elective course. NSCI 396 (3 credits total) is taken in a single Fall, Winter or Summer term. Students should expect to work on their research project for at least 9 hours per week.
