Interactive sessions where we guide students through the reality of research and graduate school, give tips on how to get involved in research as an undergraduate student and how to get admitted in graduate school.ÌýThe Melville mentorship sessions are designed to make informal knowledge about research and graduate school more explicit.

Melville Mentorship Session #1:ÌýResearch & Graduate School (what? why? how?)

Wednesday Oct. 9, 2024 at 7-8PM (on Zoom).

It will be an interactive session where we guide students through the reality of graduate school in the biomedical sciences and give tips on how to get admitted in graduate school. This session is open to everyone but especially tailored to undergraduate students in the Biomedical Sciences.


Melville Mentorship Session #2:ÌýHow to get involved in Research as an Undergraduate?

Wednesday Oct. 30, 2024 at 7-8PM (on Zoom).

Registration:

It will be an interactive session where we guide students on how to get involved in research during their Undergraduate studies.
This session is open to everyone but especially tailored to undergraduate students in the Biomedical Sciences.

It will be an interactive session where we discuss the Melville Undergraduate Research Bursary and how to apply. The objective of the Bursary is to increase diversity in the pharmacology graduate program by offering funding for a summer research experience (in the Dept. of Pharmacology & Therapeutics) and mentorship to an undergraduate student from an underrepresented equity group, in general, and Black and Indigenous student in particular.
