McGill CBD research collaboration helping develop new therapies for treating chronic pain

Important pain research from the is helping develop cannabidiol (CBD) therapies to treat chronic pain.
US company has teamed up with the McGill Research Centre for Cannabis to fund a pre-clinical study to determine if their plant-based CBD Aloe Vera product can help people suffering from interstitial cystitis, a chronic bladder condition. Evidence suggests CBD is beneficial for treating a wide range of clinical conditions and could be an effective alternative to opioid treatments. This study is an example of how knowledge from our laboratories benefits the community at large.Â
