Li Peng, MA student in Second Language Education at the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), is the recipient of the 2022 DISE International Student Award (MA level) for excellence in educational research conducted by an international student in her department. Supervised by Dr. Angelica Galante, her research examines how language teachers develop understandings of plurilingual pedagogical approaches, whether through training, professional development or classroom applications. This study aims to document the voices of language teachers, their pedagogical practices, and challenges which can inform future teacher education programs and the development of language policies in the language classroom.
Congratulations, Li!
