Project Management: Plan Your Thesis-PART 1
This two-day intensive workshop presents introductory concepts in project management, with a particular focus on project initiation and planning, using the participant’s academic thesis as a sample project.
Conducted over two consecutive afternoons, part one guides participants on how to write a project charter, while part two, a project plan. The main objective of this workshop is to help participants achieve their academic goals in the most efficient manner possible, structuring their activities according to globally recognized industry standards in project management.
IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION IS FOR BOTH DATES (March 27 and March 28). YOU CANNOT REGISTER FOR JUST ONE DAY
Learning Outcomes:
- Define project management, the role of the project manager, and the project life cycle
- Understand the strategic need for project feasibility and project planning
- Identify the essential components of a comprehensive project charter and project plan
- Assess whether your thesis project meets industry criteria required for successful project planning
- Engage with fellow students and exchange experiences to better pursue your thesis activities
NO-SHOW ALERT: There are no fees associated with SKILLSETS workshops; however, registering for an event is a commitment to attend. If you can no longer attend, make sure to cancel your registration by filling out our cancellation form (/skillsets/cancel).
