Research Areas: Neuroinformatics;Neuroimaging Data Science
During the past five years, I have developed an interest in neuroimaging network analyses and imaging genetics and was responsible for a large multi-centric neuroimaging genetic database. Neuroinformatics is a fundamental part of neuroimaging, and I chair the neuroimaging data sharing task force of the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility. I work on provenance models and global infrastructures for the implementation of “FAIR”, Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable data and other research products. Currently, I am developing analysis methods for fMRI and genetic data, meta-analysis tools, as well as teaching neuroimaging data analysis in Python. For network analyses in fMRI, I have worked on defining the nodes through parcellation techniques, estimating the networks structure as well as estimating the significance of individual edges and with specific applications in cognitive neuroscience.
