Assistant ProfessorÌýEpidemiology, Biostatistics & Occupational Health
E-mail: qihuang.zhang [at] mcgill.ca
Research Area: Genomics & Bioinformatics, Statistical Bioinformatics, Statistics
Dr. Zhang’s research interests lie in integrating statistical models and machine learning approaches to handle challenges in genetics and genomics data, including measurement error, high dimensionality, spatial heterogeneity, and complex association structure. His recent research aims to develop methods and computational tools to decipher the biological mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and cancer progression by leveraging the information learned from single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, spatial metabolomics, and imaging data.
