In many of our residences, SHHS is gradually transitioning from fluorescent to LED light bulbs given their increased efficiency and lifespan. This dual benefit allows us to both reduce energy consumption and waste! When these bulbs reach their end-of-life, we will send them to Hazardous Waste Management to be properly disposed of, as we have been doing with our used fluorescent bulbs.
