Overview
Mechanical Engineering : Mechanics of composite materials with several length scales; theory of eigenstrains and Eshelby's solution; structure-property relations, bounds, effective medium theories and scale effects in (in)elasticity, fracture, coupled field phenomena; introduction to: non-classical continua, homogenization theory, lattice models, random fields and media, stochastic finite elements, waves in random media.
