Overview
Mining & Materials Engineering : Development of industrial explosives and propellants, with particular application to mining, metallurgical and petroleum industries. Chemistry and physics of reactive materials; initiation and detonation process; commercial explosives; rock blasting and explosive energy transfer; specialized blasting techniques; explosive welding and forming; principles of shaped charges; miscellaneous industrial applications.
