Courses Outside the Student’s Faculty
Students in the School’s B.A., B.A. & Sc., B.Sc., and B.Sc.(Ag.Env.Sc.) programs may take courses outside their faculty according to the regulations of their faculty of admission.
These regulations are not identical:
- Arts students, see the eCalendar under Faculties & Schools > Faculty of Arts > Undergraduate > Programs Outside the Faculties of Arts or Science - For Arts Students.
- Arts and Science students, see the eCalendar under Faculties & Schools > Bachelor of Arts and Science Undergraduate > Courses Outside the Faculties of Arts and of Science.
- Science students, see the eCalendar under Faculties & Schools > Faculty of Science > Undergraduate > Courses Outside the Faculties of Arts and Science.
- Agricultural and Environmental Sciences students, see the eCalendar under Faculties & Schools > Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences > Undergraduate > Minimum Credit Requirement.
- Faculty of Science students in particular should be aware that some courses are restricted and cannot be taken for credit. See the Science Office for Undergraduate Student Advising (SOUSA) website at www.mcgill.ca/science/sousa. Check under Bachelor of Science degree > General course requirements > Restricted courses outside the Faculty of Science > Policy concerning courses outside Faculty of Science.
- Students in the Diploma of Environment follow the program as specified; see Diploma in Environment.
