Dr. Meguerditchian’s clinical practice focuses on surgical oncology and breast cancer. He is the Scientific Director of St. Mary’s Research Centre and a Member of the Clinical and Health Informatics Research Group at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. Dr. Meguerditchian’s research activity focuses on using health informatics technology to integrate existing and separately maintained clinical, service, and competency data to improve the delivery of cancer care across all cancer patient populations.
Dr. Meguerditchian obtained his MD from Université de Montréal where he also later received an MSc in Biomedical Sciences. He completed a research fellowship and surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, New York.
At McGill, Dr. Meguerditchian is a member of the Department of Oncology Leadership Committee as well as the Department of Surgery General Surgery Competence Committee, and is the Founder and Chair of the Melanoma McGill Multisite Multidisciplinary Tumor Conference. He is a member of two oncology advisory board committees at Quebec’s Institut national d’excellence en santé et services sociaux. In 2022, he published La récidive : le cancer à travers les yeux d'une patiente et de son médecin, written with journalist Marie-Éve Morasse.
