Biography: 

Dr. James Lee is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and board eligible for the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. Upon completing his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Dr. Lee went on to pursue his Medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine. He then completed his specialty training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the McGill University Health Centre. 

Dr. Lee strives for academic excellence and has been published extensively in the medical literature. Throughout his training he has received many honours and awards such as The Benjamin Shore-Prize for the Canadian Plastic Surgery Exam as well as a 1st prize award for Outstanding Resident Teacher. Moreover, he has received significant grants to conduct scientific research. He is currently involved in the experimentally surgery graduate program at McGill University with concentration in surgical innovation. 

Dr. Lee is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Association des Spécialistes en Chirurgie Plastique et Esthétique du Québec.
