Biography: 

Robert-James Doonan, M.D., Ph.D., is an Aortic and Vascular Surgeon at the Centre universitaire de santé McGill and McGill University Health Centre. Specializing in complex aortic diseases, Dr. Doonan focuses on the management of aneurysms and thoracic aortic conditions. His clinical expertise includes endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) and advanced aortic arch replacement techniques, particularly for patients with chronic multilevel thoracic aortic disease. Dr. Doonan is dedicated to improving patient outcomes by integrating cutting-edge surgical techniques and advancing the field of vascular surgery through his research. His work contributes to refining treatment strategies, including the use of innovative grafting methods and improving the management of aortic diseases. Dr. Doonan continues to shape the future of aortic and vascular surgery through both his clinical practice and ongoing contributions to the scientific community.
