Dr. Stephen S. Yang, MDCM MSc is an assistant professor in the division of critical care. He completed his Medical Degree and Anesthesiology residency at McGill University. He then pursued a subspeciality training in Critical Care Fellowship at McGill, a MSc in Health Research Methodology specializing in clinical epidemiology at McMaster University, and a fellowship in Perioperative Medicine Research at the Population Health Research Institute.
Dr. Yang’s research interests focus on perioperative medicine, hemodynamic changes during perioperative period, advanced hemodynamic monitoring of high-risk surgical patients, and postoperative outcomes. Dr. Yang is currently the director of research in the Department of Anesthesia at Jewish General Hospital.
