Dr. Leonardo Baccini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University, a research fellow at the Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Economie Quantitative (CIREQ) and a member of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC).聽His research interests are in the areas of聽international political economy聽and聽comparative political economy聽with a focus on trade, development, international organizations, populism, and conflict.聽

Dr. Christopher Barrington-Leigh is an Associate Professor at McGill University, joint between its聽Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy聽(DEEP, in the School of Population and Global Health) and the聽Bieler School of Environment聽(BSE). His research interests are focused on empirical and quantitative assessments of welfare, and their implications for economic, social, and environmental policy, including the pursuit of overall economic growth and material consumption expansion.
