Right after the Orientation week, we will lead a small group of Bitesize MTL excursions, which will give you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the flavor of an iconic Montreal neighbourhood, topped off by enjoying some quintessential local snacks in great company.

Thousands of students move to Montreal every year and many have experienced culture shock, and even reverse culture shock when needing to re-adapt to life back at home. This workshop will allow you to share your experiences with culture shock and learn new tips and tricks to deal with it. We will hold space for conversations surrounding new environments, cultures, and the best ways to cope. This event is a safe space to connect with others in the community.

Join us and McGill Athletes as they explain the game of hockey! Learn a bit about the history, its cultural relevance here in Canada and some strategy. We'll enjoy some pizza and then head over to Gert's Pub next door to watch the Montreal Canadiens play a game.
