Phillip Crymble

PHILLIP CRYMBLE is a physically disabled writer and literary scholar living in Fredericton, New Brunswick. A poetry editor atÌýThe FiddleheadÌýand a PhD candidate at UNB, he received his MFA from the University of Michigan and has published poems inÌýThe Literary Review of Canada, The Forward Book of Poetry, The Malahat Review, The Montreal Prize Anthology, Poetry Ireland Review,Ìýand elsewhere.ÌýNot EvenÌýLaughter, his first full-length collection, was a finalist for both the J.M. Abraham Prize and the New Brunswick Book Award. In 2016 he wonÌýThe Puritan’s annual Thomas Morton Poetry Prize. In 2017 he was voted the Reader’s Choice Award winner inÌýArc Poetry’s poem of the Year contest.
