Biography: 

Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Canada Research Chair (Tier-II) in Biomaterials and Biomacromolecule Delivery, and a Full member in the Goodman Cancer Institute at McGill University. Dr. Guojun Chen earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Nankai University in 2012 and his PhD in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral training at UCLA before joining McGill University in 2021. His research focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials and drug delivery systems for a range of therapeutics, including nucleic acids, proteins, and small molecules. These platforms are being explored for the treatment of various diseases, including cancer, infectious diseases, and genetic disorders.
