The Office of Emergency Management is committed to supporting the University’s mission to advance learning and create and disseminate knowledge by administering comprehensive emergency management and business continuity programs. We work in collaboration with McGill stakeholders and external partners to promote safety and organizational resilience, strengthen the University’s capacity to deal with emergencies and disruptions and ensure coherency of action in times of crisis. We achieve this through the adoption of an all-hazards approach, risk-based planning, continuous training and education, professional guidance, and the pursuit of best practices.
