On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, HBHL hosted a Mentorship Lunch that brought together experienced industry professionals and over 40 McGill graduate students, postdocs and postgrads over coffee and lunch at the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship. Mentors shared about their experience navigating the workforce and engaged in lively roundtable discussions with the mentees. Topics ranged from academia-industry collaborations and social innovation to technology transfer, medical affairs, scientific entrepreneurship and operational management.

IMPORTANT: The majority of our graduate programs are NOT AFFECTED by the recent Quebec government announcements regarding tuition increases.

Out-of-province and International MSc-Thesis and PhD students will NOT be impacted by these proposed tuition increases.

PhD students from the rest of Canada will continue to pay the same tuition as students from Quebec.

Tuition will increase by approximately ~3% per year, as in past years.

Wahéhshon Whitebean and Cheyenne Neszo have been named recipients of Rathlyn Fellowships. Awarded annually through the Indigenous Studies Program at McGill, Rathlyn Fellowships support Indigenous graduate students at McGill in their studies and research. Each Fellowships is worth $15,000.

The Rathlyn Fellowship is given out each year through the Indigenous Studies Program at McGill.
