McGill finishes second at RSEQ swim championships

Team captain and Desautels BCom senior Keelan Marks led a remarkable McGill swim team to a second-place overall finish at this past weekend’s RSEQ championships, with 13 medals. Highlights included a sweep of the butterfly events by Samuel Wang and Kate Wist. Wang’s medal count was two golds, one silver and one bronze, while Wist claimed three golds and a personal best in the 400 free.

Of Marks’ final event as a member of the Redmen, head coach Peter Carpenter said “I can barely put into words what he has meant to me and the team, and I am crushed to see his McGill swimming career come to an end.”
