If you have been the victim of or have witnessed a theft, crime or other incident:

Report a Missing Person
We recommend that concerned individuals contact the police to report a missing person. When members of the McGill community have reason to believe that a McGill student is missing, they can also contact Security Services:

Report a Theft or Crime online with the Montreal Police (SPVM)
Are you the victim of mischief, theft, vandalism or graffiti?
- You can complete a police report onlineÌýwithout having to go to the local station.
- If the offence did not take place in the Montréal Island area, you will have to contact the local police department where it occurred.
Support for Students in Difficulty
Support is available to assist you in instances where you are concerned for the safety or well-being of yourself or a student.
The Dean of Students Office, in coordination with Security Services, is available to reach out to individuals with a confidential, experienced and respectful approach. Early support and intervention is always best.
